Senior Ski Trip Photos

Here are some shots from our recent ski trip to Porter Heights for our seniors. A huge thank you to Kelly Sheppard, Gemma Odering and Melissa Lawler for their organisation and determination to make this such a successful experience for our tamariki.

It was awesome to see the rapid improvement in confidence and skill of our children on the slopes. Only a small number of children had been skiing or snowboarding before, so this was another great 'first' for Burnham School!

Senior Ski Trip Cancelled

Unfortunately the ski trip to Porter Height's is off due to blizzard conditions on the mountain. Kelly will try to find an alternative date and will keep you posted. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Kelly, Mel and Gemma for their amazing hard work in organising this first for our school. What stunning people we have working with our children!

New deck and ramp

Those of you who were lucky enough to be at Burnham School last year will get a nice surprise when you come on Tuesday - we've installed a fabulous new ramp and deck outside the senior end of the school. This ramp and deck joins Rooms 6 and 7.

In addition to this, we've made a large door between Rooms 7 and 8, which makes all three of these spaces more accessible and usable. These will be superb learning environments for our tamariki to learn and grow in!
